If you are reading this, you are probably looking for the right college. Naturally you are thinking about your future; choosing a career, getting a good job and meeting new people. When searching for the perfect college, start with these 10 key questions.
1) Does it offer degree programs that I'm are interested in?
2) Where is it located? What does the campus look and feel like?
3) What is the size of the student body and how big are the classes?
4) Are there extracurricular programs that I'm interested in?
5) How is the housing and the food?
6) What are the admission standards?
7) What educational support services are available to me?
8) How are learning differences handled in the classroom?
9) How will this program prepare me for the work place?
10) Can I see myself graduating from this college in four years?

Once you have identified the colleges that excite you, ask yourself the following questions, and answer them honestly.
Is my ADHD/Learning Disability under control? Can I concentrate in class? Can get homework done on my own-at least most of the time?

Am I ready to be on my own? Can I take care of myself and handle the distractions that may pull me in 10 directions at one time?

Do I have the energy for the daily demands of college? Can I manage an academic schedule and stay active and positive?

Do I have the commitment and focus that will pull me through early-morning classes and nights of study?

If you reply with more than one or two no answers, it doesn't necessarily mean that college isn't right for you now. It does indicate that you will benefit from a school that offers a strong support system.
